IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR YOUR ONLINE EXPERIENCE...
ROOM SET UP:
Set up your space for comfort and privacy, Where possible make sure you give yourself the option to move with ease from sitting to lying position, and have a little space to come to standing too.
Have blankets and cushions close by and some of you might like an eye covering to use during the breathe.
Wear clothes that are easy to move in and I suggest not wearing belts or anything that might restrict the movement of your abdomen or diaphragm area. Also best to remove dangling jewellry.
You might like to set the mood with soft lighting and have objects, pictures or altar pieces in the room; just be sure any lit candles are well away from where your are sitting/lying and you have enough space around you if you find you want to stretch out or move your body.
I don't recommend burning incense during the session as the smoke can irritate the throat/lungs; however you could burn some beforehand to give a lighter scent to the room if you are used to the fragrance. An alternative could be to use am essential oil diffuser but again, stick with oils that are familiar to you and you know don't create any irritation for you.
PLEASE ENSURE YOU ARE IN A PRIVATE SPACE THAT OTHERS WON"T ENTER DURING OUR TIME TOGETHER

The Zoom waiting area opens TEN MINUTES before we start; I invite that you use this time to ease into your space, feel into any intentions for your session and should you wish to do so you can say hello to your fellow explorers and share how you're feeling in the chat box.
Please note that as we often drop straight into a practice at the start so if you arrive later than the start time, you are likely to miss out on a lovely landing experience.
Please keep your microphone muted when you arrive.
TECH CONSIDERATIONS:
I ask that we have our cameras on if at all possible to promote a sense of safety and connection for the whole group AND I do respect your choice not to do so (and acknowledge that connection issues sometimes don't allow for this) so if your camera isn't switched on I won't be asking you in the moment to rectify that.
I highly recommend using wireless head/earphones if possible, wired are preferable to none but might restrict movement, and of course, your presence without any head/earphones is preferable to you not being there! Headphones simply allow for a more satisfying experience regarding hearing both the music and my voice; and perhaps more importantly, they provide a sense of privacy and safety, especially for those who choose to ask any questions or speak about their experience in the sharing circle.
As we are in the hands of the internet and technology gods during online sessions it may be helpful to make note of these guidelines. It is advisable to ensure you have checked for and updated zoom to it's current version before the call to minimise hiccups. If we lose sound during the breathe stay in your experience and keep the breath flowing, use the silence to support you in feeling even more acutely all that arises for you moment by moment. I will be doing all I can to reconnect sound whilst staying present to you too.
If we lose internet connection, please gently bring yourself out of the experience; if we are engaged in Integrative Breathwork or any other pranayama gradually slow down your breath and use nose breathing until you feel ready to open your eyes, sit up and move on into your day. Know that I will find a way to connect in with you to check that you are okay. This might be via email; or by posting on the event page on Facebook for example. And of course, if the connection issue is at my end, it may be later in the day once the issue is resolved.

A Non-Intentional New Year's Eve
Does the idea of setting New Year Resolutions excite and motivate you or create a clench of unwanted pressure in your body? Does the clock hand moving across the place of midnight hold meaning for you, or is there an echoing hollow tone of insignificance?
Perhaps New Year is a joyous celebration for you, or perhaps your truth is that you feel more aligned with grief at this time? There is no wrong or right way to approach this moment and all of the resonances you feel in response to it are valid; yet sometimes the external pressures of those around us and the drive to celebrate pushed on by commercial interest can have us either disassociating from how we truly feel; or feeling our truth yet also feeling that there is no place where it is welcome.
And so on this day I WELCOME YOU and I welcome your truth.
We will take time to feel into what is alive in each of us in this moment, what feels heavy, what feels light. You might choose to grieve someone or some situation that will not be crossing the portal into 2022 with you. You might choose to reflect on what needs to be completed now, let go of by choice. You might want to review, check in if there is any past expenditure that you would like to clear (money, words, energy owed to another); or energy that needs to be reclaimed from others. And although we won't be setting New Year Resolutions (the energy of winter doesn't really support the beginning of new ventures); we will be tuning into what gifts are innate to you. What essence of you is laying underground, being gently worked on in the dark, strengthening in unknown ways so that is may flourish when the light of early Spring eventually arrives?

Closing at midday you then have a full twelve hours to feel and choose for yourself how you want to celebrate, or sleep, or meditate, or dance, or make love, or in any other way move your way into 2022

The Light, The Dark, The Reverence

And this "system" whilst adopted by the majority, is blatantly flawed.
So much suffering is created out of this use of our intellectual/emotional programming. From office arguments over where to put the water cooler, to a couple's choice to have or not have children, to whether people of certain colour, culture, gender etc get a place at the table. When we run the decision making through the lens of duality and attempt to come up with an answer based on adopted beliefs and our conditioned fixed patterns, we will find ourselves embroiled in argument, literally unable to "see" or embrace another person's filtering program. And get this! Not only do these conflicts occur in external dynamics, but within our own psyches we have warring aspects robbing us of our ability to master self-authority, clear knowing, and synarchy (living our truth whilst maintaining peace and harmony with others).
So how do we overcome these hurtful dynamics whilst staying an avid explorer within this "school of duality" (humanity and earth)?
Tantra's guidance is "embrace it all"...
The rational mind HATES the paradox of more than one thing being "true" or "correct" so it isn't always the easiest path to choose. Fortunately we have the intuitive and creative mind in our corner, along with the phenomena of "felt senses". When we use these systems to make our choices, we do so whilst humbly acknowledging "this feels right for me, and I accept that it might not feel right for anyone else". Modern day interpretation "You do You" (which can be far more selfless than it first sounds).
Over this three month voyage I invite you to come and explore these concepts with me whilst you simultaneously develop and fortify your awareness of your felt senses and intuitive guiding system. There are three groupings of 4 Sundays with one week of integration time in between. As my chosen path is "empowerment through eros" there will be an erotic element and sensual flavour to the practices I share; and the third and final cycle "The Reverence" will be clothing optional (not intended to entice voyeurism, but rather as an exploration of radical self acceptance).

This is a six session journey starting on the 14th of November and running through to the 19th of December . You will have the opportunity to drop in and discover your own Sankalpa (heartfelt desire and intention) for the journey, our group intention will be to develop and deepen our awareness of how the element of fire as an expression of Eros can support our lives. From the soft guiding light of the lantern or candle flame (subtle sensuality); through the intense roaring fires of transmutation (heightened arousal of all senses); to the glowing embers of the hearth (the holding energy of the afterglow); we will each discover how accessible these states are to us. If we discover a disconnection, the practices will support reconnection. If we discover we are already happily engaging these states, the practices will offer a refinement and a move towards mastery.
We will lean into the powers of the fire bearing Goddesses, Hekate the lamp bearer, Sekhmet the Sun warrior, and Hestia the hearth fire that feeds and warms the heart of community.
